Carl Mentesana, DDS, MS

Dr. Mentesana is a Texas native, born in Dallas. After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory School, he attended Baylor University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from Baylor with honors, recognized as one of Baylor’s top twenty seniors. Dr. Mentesana returned to Dallas where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. He then completed a 3-year residency in Periodontics, where he specialized in implant procedures, gum grafting and the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease. He is certified to provide IV conscious sedation by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and is trained in advanced cardiac life support. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontics, American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Mentesana is passionate about dentistry and his patients. Each patient is treated as family, receiving individualized attention. He enjoys creating a comfortable and informative dental environment. In his free time, Dr. Mentesana enjoys wakeboarding, surfing and spending time with his wife and their three children (Vince, Pierce & Henry).

Matthew K. Saxon, DDS, MS

Dr. Saxon graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.  He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After completion of his dental training, Dr. Saxon completed his specialty training in Periodontics, and earned a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He is certified to provide IV conscious sedation by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and is trained in advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Saxon is board certified in periodontics, and dental implant surgery by the American Board of Periodontology and holds memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, The Southwest Society of Periodontists, Texas Dental Association, The American Dental Association, The Dallas County Dental Society and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Saxon enjoys playing soccer, exercising, and spending time with his wife, Cameron.
